Every year, we welcome outstanding performers from all over the world to perform a wide-ranging and distinctive programme in the many spectacular venues in and around Ryedale, North Yorkshire – an area full of history and natural beauty.
A very big thank you to everyone who supported our Summer Festival and helped make it our most successful to date. With appearances by stellar artists including Jess Gillam, Stephen Hough, Eric Whitacre, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and many more, we performed in more places – and to more people – than ever before.
Looking ahead, our Winter Weekend offers a chance to step out of the cold and into a weekend of music, words and ideas.
From the spellbinding talent of pianist Ethan Loch to a warm and searching conversation between Katherine May and Jeffrey Boakye; from the debut of an imaginative English Song Winterreise by Roderick Williams to the world premiere of a Community Song Cycle celebrating resilience, rest and renewal, it promises to be a welcoming gathering of artists and audiences to share stories, song and seasonal reflections on the turning year.
Please consider supporting our work. There are many ways to be involved, including volunteering, becoming a member, or making a donation directly through this website. If you’d like to get in touch with our team to explore the opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.
However you choose to take part, your support really matters to us and helps the Festival thrive.
I hope you can join us for the Winter Weekend and look forward to seeing you there.
